It all began back in 2005, when an event promoter decided to convert his diesel Mercedes into a veggie-mobile. Some thought it cool, but most were confused, and a lot of chaos ensued because of his newfound friendship with green. Yet, there were a small group of individuals within the dance music community who paid attention and believed it possible to create change…and the Green Addict organization came to life.
I have always thought of the Green Addicts as the “Merry Pranksters of the 21st century” but without the electric kool-aid and acid tests. We are much more socially responsible than the hippies of the 60’s, and we will continue to inspire and create change within the entertainment industry (the 2nd largest environmental polluter behind industry).
We are miles away from perfect but we have shown that when we come together, AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN…Earthdance, Coachella, SF LovEvolution and other events we’ve produced or participated in over the last 4 years brought us here, to the most affluent neighborhood in the United States, the “Jewel” of California’s coast, La Jolla, for the biggest and brightest NYE event in Southern California.
The birthplace of climate research began at Scripps Institute of Oceanography over 50 years ago, right here in beautiful La Jolla, and so it seems a perfect fit that we are celebrating this “evolution” of mind, body and spirit together at Evolve New Years 2010. Our commitment to you is to provide the most exciting, most abundant and spirited celebration that you’ve ever had the opportunity to be a part of.

$150 VIP ticket includes early entrance to event (2 pm), a private VIP area with an array of premium liquor and food/appetizers, lounge seating and private dance areas, and of course hosted bar throughout all other locations of event from start to finish! And better yet… a VIP ticket includes a second day of fun on New Years Day with DJ performances from 8am – 8pm, all for $150!
